Gamma Racing and the Assen TT Circuit is the chosen venue for Zongshen to unveil their plans for next years race bike almost half a season early. "It is an exciting big step for Zongshen today, we wish we had more track to test and iron out bugs but thats racing. We are looking forward to developing this bike more, this is a test bike for us, the batteries we have are probably not big enough to let us fully test the motor, we have a long way to go to make this as good as we can, but we have made a great start" more | |

Virginia Tech Bolt upgrading for next season!30 July 2012Winning the award for the fastest finisher on a TTX75 motorcycle, no. 72 Robert Hancock put in a stirling performance this weekend for the team from Virginia Tech University. This, despite being both new to riding an electric bike and a first timer at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca!! The course is very technical and presents a challenge to both man and machine. Inspired by his performance the team have announced they are in already in the works to build a full Electric GP bike for next season... Michael Barnes best qualifier with a top speed of 225km/28 July 2012AMA favorite and star rider Eric Bostrom (Team Icon Brammo) divides team Barracuda Lightning riders Michael Barnes and Tom Montano on the challenging Californian Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca circuit. Matthias Himmelmann was the first rider to set a time under 1.40 mark, quickly followed by Michael Barnes who set his fastest time on the third lap out. Matthias Himmelmann and the Münch Racing Team top the practice at FIM e-Power & TTXGP Championships at Oschersleben

Matthias Himmelmann, defending champion of the TTXGP Euro series looked impressive on the track at Ochersleben this afternoon, clocking up a fastest lap time of 1'38.847 aboard the latest model of the Münch TTE. "It packs more power and is a few kilos lighter" says Matthias. In comparison, the top FIM Endurance World Championship team set a best time of 1'27 was set by on the German track this weekend. more
